Stir Fry Bowl

Stir fry bowls are one of the best go-to meals on the Daniel Fast, and easy to customize to your taste preference.

Stir fry is also quick to put together (especially if you have rice already prepared) making it a great option for lunch or dinner.

Stir Fry Bowl Daniel Fast

You can eat vegetables by themselves, or serve over your whole grain of choice such as:

  • Rice

  • Quinoa

  • Bulgur

You can steam vegetables or stir fry. If you stir fry, you’ll have to use some form of oil to prevent sticking and be able to cook effectively. Try a high quality olive oil, avocado oil, or sesame oil.

Combine the following ingredients to create your own stir fry bowl. Don’t forget to include a variety of colors and textures, toppings are important for texture and taste.

  • Broccoli

  • Carrots

  • Mushrooms (try shiitake or stir fry blend)

  • Bok Choy

  • Chinese/Napa  cabbage

  • Snow peas/peas

  • Corn

  • Bell Peppers

  • Green Beans

  • Garlic

  • Onions

Toppings

  • Water chestnuts

  • Sesame seeds

  • Sliced almonds

  • Cashews

  • Peanuts

  • Cilantro

  • Sesame Oil

  • Bragg Liquid Aminos

  • Coconut milk

  • Ginger

  • Fresh cilantro

  • Fresh lime
